The New North End is geographically situated in the northeast corner of Burlington. Most of the residences were built after World War II. The New North End of Burlington is a thin arm of land bordered by Lake Champlain on the west and the Intervale-over 700 acres of undeveloped land, community gardens, and nature trails-on the east. The NNE is home to several higher-priced lakefront residences. The New North End also includes many moderately priced homes, substantial shopping options, a public beach and hockey arena, Burlington High School, and several restaurants. The New North End is the largest district in Burlington and is also the most populous.
